Local Review: Best Window Cleaning Service in Denton, Texas

What's the worst household chore (ever)?

CLEANING WINDOWS.

Especially when you're in a time crunch to get your home ready to host a party, and that "golden hour" ever so embarrassingly highlights your filthy windows with all the dog nose smears and bark slobber marks, messy toddler handprints, and dirty rain residue.

Thankfully, I had a Denton window cleaning service come save the day... ya know, so our friends will never see the filth we actually live in. We can pretend for one day, right?

Here's my honest review of DFW Details, a window cleaning company in Denton:

Best Window Cleaning Company in Denton, Texas

The Process:

I am actually blown away at how professional these guys are. Their communication from start to finish, to the actual work itself, to their attention to detail, and even their interactions and appearance. They were extremely knowledgable in all things window cleaning, had professional-grade tools and supplies, and took their job very seriously.

End Result:

Totally exceeded my expectations. I didn't realize how dirty our windows were until I saw how CLEAN they were after the job was complete. They were so spotless, it almost looked like there wasn't even a window there and I could walk right through it. No, I didn't attempt it.

Overall:

Their professionalism and expertise FAR exceeds what one might expect from young entrepreneurs. I would recommend them to anyone, and genuinely will tell you they're worth every dollar. From every interaction and even the quality of the completed service, these are the guys you can trust to get the job done right. They'll even prove their expertise by helping you identify any issues with your windows to consider for future improvements, including pointing out any weather-caused scratches, broken seals, etc.

Hands down, a 5-star experience in every category.

Here's a few before, during and after photos of the window cleaning service they did on my house. Keep in mind... photos of windows will never do it justice! In person, it was a shocking difference.

I was highly impressed with these guys, so I found out a little more about DFW Details and wanted to share this information so the people of Denton will consider hiring them for residential and commercial window cleaning services.

About DFW Details

They don't just do residential and commercial window cleaning services — they do mobile car detailing, too.

Window cleaning services they offer:

  • Residential window cleaning, where we offer both interior and exterior window cleaning. We can do 1, 2, and 3 story buildings for residential jobs. All exterior glass, tracks, frames, and sills get cleaned. We remove, clean, and replace all screens. The interior side of all exterior glass also gets cleaned, and interior frames are wiped where needed.
  • As for commercial window cleaning, we do buildings such as offices and store fronts, and they include everything listed within residential window cleaning.

Car detailing services they offer:

  • Restorative interior details that include steam cleaning, shampooing, and sanitizing.
  • Exterior details that include deep cleaning the wheels, fender wells, and bumpers, a hand wash of all exterior paint, and a final touch including a high quality wax.
  • Engine bay details that will be a deep and thorough cleaning of everything under the hood, and finalized with a matte dressing to have the engine looking brand new again.

Why Choose DFW Details

After talking to Thatcher, it's clear that what makes their window cleaning company unique is their dedication and commitment to giving clients the highest quality service possible. I witnessed this myself when they came to my home to clean windows. Thatcher's goal in his business has never been to be the cheapest and quickest service, nor make the most money — but instead to give his clients the best service they can find, with a high standard for excellence and quality.

They also use a quoting request system that allows Thatcher to actually talk to the client and understand their needs, instead of a impersonal "pick a date and time" booking system with zero interaction. He desires the opportunity to build client relationships, making them feel seen, heard and valued.

No wonder they're a 5-star rated auto detailing and window cleaning service on Google.

What to Expect

The process is seamless, from start to finish — proactive and consistent communication, professional interactions, and even the strong attention to detail to ensure every window is spotless.

Communication is one of their many strong suits, whether the client reaches out via text, email, phone call, or on the website form. They'll reach out with an introduction and ask a variety of questions to ensure their team is the best fit for the clients' needs and able to fully meet their expectations. From there, they will send a final price and book the appointment based on the client's schedule. They will also send a reminder text 2 days prior to the appointment, and another when they're headed to the home. When they arrive, they'll walk the client through the process to get started, and do a final walk through to make sure everything is up to their standard.

Jobs can usually range from 2-4 hours depending on the condition of the vehicle or the windows.

In almost any service industry, you get what you pay for. They are by no means the cheapest window cleaning company in this industry, but I can almost guarantee with DFW Details, you'll get more than what you pay for.

Service Areas

DFW Details primarily serves all of Denton County, but will also go to cities like Plano, Frisco, Grapevine, Lewisville, Northern Fort Worth, and Northern Dallas.

Benefits of Professional Window Cleaning Services & Car Detailing Services

For window cleaning services, it's recommend to them done every 6-9 months — or like in my situation, before you host a big party or holiday gathering! If you plan to sell your home, the ROI on professional window cleaning services is a whopping 768%. This is a great way to increase the curb appeal of a house when listing it, or to simply brighten up your home with the best first impressions for prospective buyers.

For car detailing, it's recommended to have your interior deep cleaned every 6-9 months. This helps to keep your car in optimal condition and avoid any damage from stains or abrasives left on plastics or upholster, and also one day sell it for what it's really worth. There is 350% ROI for having a car detailed prior to selling. Exterior detailing also has great value. Most people think that it is no different than a car wash, but that's not the case. Exterior detailing utilizes a wax and paint sealant, which helps keep your vehicle cleaner for longer by creating a hydrophobic layer on your car's paint — and this helps to prevent water spots, bird poo, and bugs from damaging the paint. Restorative cleaning aims to bring the vehicle back to its factory state. After this service, simple maintenance is easy for the client with a recommended monthly vacuum and wipe down.

DFW Details Top 5 FAQ's

Their detailing services help enhance your vehicle's appearance, protect it from environmental damage, maintain resale value, and promote a healthier driving environment.

Q. Does getting your car detailed increase the resale value?

By preserving its appearance, protecting it from damage, and maintaining its condition, detailing helps ensure that your vehicle retains its value and appeal to potential buyers. There is 350% ROI for having a car detailed prior to selling.

About Co-Owner, Thatcher Nall:

Thatcher Nall was born and raised in Denton. After working at Earl's 377 in Argyle as a teenager, he became inspired to become an entrepreneur after seeing a YouTube video titled, "Start this business with $500"— which talked about how to start a mobile car detailing business. What sounded like a fun summer job to take on with his best friend, ended up turning into a full-time business endeavor. They started out practicing auto detailing on family and friends' cars, but quickly realized residential and commercial window cleaning services was a natural addition to offer people in Denton County and beyond. So they doubled down on taking things seriously to start a professional window cleaning business — starting with getting a DBA and LLC, business insurance, a website and online presence, marketing and branding, and everything in between.

One of the main ways Thatcher remains involved in the community is through serving in his church, Valley Creek Church in Denton, by volunteering at Wednesday night student events and cafe duties on Sundays. He currently attends college through a program called Valley Creek Leadership Academy (VCLA) at the Valley Creek Church main campus in Flower Mound, where he pursues additional serving opportunities including "Serve the City," a church-led volunteer group helping areas of Denton County in need every month. Thatcher also attends local car meets hosted by UNT or Denton County.
